South Jakarta Vice Mayor, Edi Sumantri, symbolically distributed social assistance for the Fulfillment of Basic Needs (Bansos PKD) Jakarta Children's Card (KAJ), Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), and Jakarta Disability Card (KPDJ) for beneficiaries at Cipete Utara Urban Village Office, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

Edi said this is main program of Jakarta Provincial Government. It is hoped that all regional working units (OPD) in South Jakarta are able to support the social assistance implementation.

"Today, symbolic recipients who have received the invitation will be given ATM cards to be able to receive social assistance," he said, Monday (7/29).

Edi added that after the assistance is received by the entitled community and recorded as recipients, then each OPD can notify each level of its ranks and RT/RW administrators not to carry out things related to illegal levies.

"I would like to thank all parties who have helped. Hopefully this assistance will provide great benefits for those who need it in their daily lives," he added.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Bernard Tambunan, explained the symbolical disbursement was given to 95 beneficiaries f KAJ, KLJ, and KPDJ in Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

"Jakarta Provincial Government will distribute 17,494 new cards for 4,020 KAJ, 12,330 for KLJ, and 1,144 for KPDJ beneficiaries in South Jakarta this year," he explained.
